Hi all! On Saturday 9th October at 9pm we are hosting a live cocktail making session! 'Ooooooo - can we make them too?' We hear you ask!!
Why of course!!! Please be prepared by checking out all the equipment and ingredients you will need below to make 4 very different cocktails with our own Discworld flavour!
Please drink responsibly. We do not recommend that any individual consumes the alcoholic version of all four drinks by themselves. Please either share, pick you favourites or choose the non-alcoholic version.
Equipment:
- Cocktail shaker
- Jigger or Measure
- Ice - LOTS
- Bar spoon
- Glasses (various)
- Small paring knife and chopping board
- Tea-towel (in case of messiness!)
Bearhuggers Sour
- 50ml Bearhuggers Whiskey (or your favourite whiskey tipple)
- 3 drop Angostura bitters
- 25ml Lemon Juice
- 15ml sugar syrup (see below)
- ½ egg white
- Orange slice & cherry
- Tumbler glass
Old Tom Collins
- 25ml lemon juice
- 25ml simple syrup (see below)
- 50 ml gin (optional)
- Soda water
- Orange slice
- Tall glass
Ankhmorpolitan
- 50ml Citron Vodka
- 25ml Cointreau
- 35ml Cranberry Juice
- 10ml lime juice
- Orange peel
- Martini / Nick & Nora Glass
Klatchian Coffee
- 50ml Whiskey/Brandy/Tia Maria/Baileys OR splash of flavoured syrup
- 1 tsp sugar
- Hot coffee
- Whipped cream
- Cinnamon
- Hot whiskey glass / Heavy stemmed glass
Simple Sugar Syrup
Mix 300g caster sugar with 150ml water in a small saucepan over a low heat stirring continuously until the sugar is dissolve. Do not boil. Allow to cool completely before adding to your favourite cocktails.
